As we are approaching the quarter of the century, it seems apt to reflect on the ways in which landscape has changed over the decades of my professional experience. How has our experience of everyday landscape transformed? Where is this transformation leading us? And why does landscape still matter?

“Promenade Fleuve”, the project we worked in team with VLAN, Atelier Pierre Thibault (APT), ARUP with White Arkitekter, Systematica and Jean-Bruno Morissette to redevelop the Saint-Laurent River waterfront, has been awarded a special mention because it proposes a regional analysis and interconnected landscape.

Finally, the new year has broken, and we are setting up new directions in this process towards the future; we understand that - in many things - we are "in-between".

On Paysages, the annual review of the association of landscape architects of Québec, the project of LAND Canada is highlighted as a virtuous example of how a barren landscape can be transformed into a nature network which enables the movement of living organisms by connecting existing green spaces.
