Drawing inspiration from the renowned Bürgenstock area, the design mirrors the surrounding vast meadows, forests, and clearings through a series of carefully planned elements. Green courtyards, filtering vegetation along the facades, terraces, and vegetated exterior walls gently integrate the hotel into its characteristic landscape.
After a detailed inventory of the local environment, the design was tailored to capture the intrinsic landscape characters: the lower forest forms a natural enclosure for the building ensemble, while thematic tree groups in the central courtyard evoke the essence of the surrounding woods. Green roofs reproduce the appearance of flower meadows and open clearings, and the internal courtyards feature miniature gardens that reflect the complexity of Swiss landscapes—embodying forests, meadows, and rocky outcrops to create a true naturaminiatura that offers a healing, restorative space.
