Project Section
Rooted in the innovative and humanistic legacy of Olivetti, the project draws inspiration from the iconic graphic designs of Giovanni Pintori, translating their distinctive lines and colours into a new language for the urban landscape. A system of generative lines becomes the defining element of the design, connecting the square’s historical identity with contemporary principles of biodiversity, permeability and climate adaptation.
At the heart of the proposal lies the concept of a Library of Nature, where landscape becomes a living framework for the regeneration of public space. Through depaving, new planting and the introduction of permeable surfaces, the project transforms an area currently dominated by functional uses into a more welcoming, multifunctional environment that encourages social interaction and strengthens the relationship between people and Nature.
