LANDscape and hospitality meet at InOut
On 16 October 2026, Claudio Bussei and Elena Grilli from LAND Italia joined InOut in Rimini as guests, bringing LAND’s landscape-led approach to Italy’s leading event for the hospitality industry, as Andreas Kipar’s interview appears in the October issue of InOut Review.
Some places stay with us long after the journey ends. In hospitality, that lasting impression is built through details, atmosphere and a deep connection with the surrounding landscape. It is with this perspective that LAND took part in the InOut‘s event in Rimini on 16 October 2026, with Claudio Bussei and Elena Grilli attending the event as guests.
InOut is Italy’s leading event for the hospitality industry and the B2B reference point for designing, furnishing and innovating the sector. From 14 to 16 October 2026, the Rimini exhibition centre brought together accommodation and beach facilities with technologies, supplies, services, furnishings and wellness solutions.
For LAND, being there meant sharing a simple conviction: outdoor spaces are an integral part of the guest experience and deserve to be designed together with the building from the very beginning.

Claudio Bussei, recently appointed Director at LAND Italia, brings to this new chapter 12 years of experience in the landscape industry, with a focus on hospitality. A chartered landscape architect and agronomist, he has worked on luxury hotels and resorts, masterplans and mixed-use developments across the Mediterranean and the Middle East, including Bvlgari Resort & Mansions in Abu Dhabi.
Alongside him, Elena Grilli, architect working between LAND Italia and LAND MENA, and involved in many projects such as Al Khuzam Development in Riyadh, reflects the international and integrated way in which LAND’s teams collaborate across the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf.

Their presence at InOut comes in the same month as the interview with Andreas Kipar published in the October 2026 issue of InOut Review, which looks at the role of landscape in hospitality and resonates with the direction Claudio will follow in his new role: advancing Nature-Positive landscape design, where design, research and data work together to create landscapes that perform, evolve and generate environmental value over time.
Through its presence at InOut, we continue to promote a landscape-led approach that places the relationship between people, Nature and the built environment at the centre of hospitality design.
