Industrie wird Nachbarschaft – Together with fsp Architekten AG and ASTOC Architects and Planners GmbH, LAND Suisse is part of the winning team for the transformation of the former industrial site along Gewerbestrasse in Döttingen, Switzerland. The project redefines a once-enclosed production area into a lively, mixed-use urban quarter that combines living, working, and leisure. Rooted in its industrial past, the new neighborhood opens towards the landscape — green, connected, and future-oriented.

The Biasca School Campus is a transformative project integrating education, nature, and community. By reimagining public spaces, it fosters connectivity, sustainability, and ecological resilience. Through biodiversity corridors, permeable surfaces, and green infrastructure, the campus enhances learning environments while reinforcing the relationship between the built and natural landscapes.

The new urban and landscape development in Via Ceresio in Pregassona for Artisa Architektur AG provided the opportunity to rethink public space in the interest of a wider community, in line with the future strategic and planning intentions of the Municipality of Lugano.

Situated on Monte Tamaro, Ticino, where human activity has historically shaped the terrain, this project for an Alpine Solar Park is designed to integrate with the local ecosystem and existing ecological corridors and will become a Nature-Positive Attractor.

The Ideas Study for Basel East (Ideenstudie Stadtraum Basel Ost) offers an overarching development vision for transforming the 180 ha area into a future-oriented, sustainable, social, and innovative neighbourhood, starting from the landscape.

The Spatial Development Concept (Raumentwicklungskonzept) for Opfikon defines a strategic framework to guide sustainable growth, enhance public space, and support long-term climate resilience through integrated planning, spatial analysis, and inclusive participation within the Zurich metropolitan context.

Residenza ai Fiori, located centrally in the Municipality of Tenero, within the scenic Canton Ticino in Switzerland, is a vibrant new residential neighbourhood that blends high-quality open spaces with a strong sense of community.

The aim of the project was the setting-up of the document Programma d’Azione Comunale (Municipal Action Programme) in a synergic collaboration with the Dicastero territorio e mobilità of the Municipio of Bellinzona. The guiding principle for the working team was drawing particular attention to landscape valorisation and virtuous territorial development.

In the context of Airolo, located at the northern tip of Valle Leventina beneath the Gotthard Massif in Canton Ticino, the challenge was to find a harmonious balance between the critical role of transportation infrastructure and the preservation of natural landscapes.

The masterplan is based on a solid network of public spaces to strengthen ecological, social and cultural interactions. The campus will become an urban recreational space, with nature permeating the area in various forms.

The project develops the concept of an integrated sports park, where the naturalistic and landscape components are associated harmoniously with the built components, giving rise to a single large sports and recreational area called the Parco dell Sport.

The 2017 Nespresso Flagship Store in Cannes seamlessly blends sustainability and retail experience. Through biophilic design, a capsule garden, and integrated greenery, the project enhances customer interaction while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility and innovative retail architecture.

The landscape architecture project for the Bühler Innovation Campus involves creating new green spaces on the different levels. Each outdoor space is designed with a special character to enhance the quality of life and bring nature into and around the building.

From 2014-2016, we have been involved in landscape consulting for the third-generation Lugano Agglomeration Programme (PAL3), which integrates landscape and urban development.

The project for the Bosco Fontile woods in Minusio, Ticino, proposes to enjoy the various components of the existing landscape through two different paths: the first as a suspended path, and the second as a path on the ground.

In the second generation of Nespresso stores, the attention to sustainability and the green topic is integrated into a model to be followed and in innovation technology.
