Andreas Kipar to Speak at CAS ETH on the Future of Urban Development
Andreas Kipar will speak about Nature-Positive Landscapes at the CAS ETH in Zukunft der Raumentwicklung (CAS ETH in the Future of Spatial Development) on September 24, 2024.
As part of the first module of this influential course, Kipar will deliver a presentation titled “How Cities Transform into Urban Landscapes: From Nature-Positive Cities to Nature-Positive Landscapes”, scheduled from 8:45 to 10:15.
The programme, hosted by ETH Zurich, delves into global trends shaping urban futures and explores sustainable, climate-friendly, and energy-efficient solutions for spatial development. Kipar’s talk will highlight his vision for transforming urban environments into green, resilient spaces, emphasizing the shift towards nature-positive strategies that integrate biodiversity and climate action into urban landscapes.
