Alongside Momentum, LAND developed a study at the request of the Yukon Government for Rabbit’s Foot Canyon, part of the Whitehorse corridor and a key component of the broader Alaska Highway Multi-use Trail Masterplan. This proposal aims not only to improve safety and connectivity across the corridor but also to enhance economic development and tourism opportunities for the territory, aligning with a strategic vision that integrates ecological, social, and cultural values.
This vision transcends infrastructure rehabilitation by proposing a holistic, multi-dimensional approach that fosters coexistence, resilience, and experience within the landscape. This means supporting wildlife movement and biodiversity, enhancing ecosystem resilience especially regarding water systems, and enriching human interaction through accessibility and valorization of the local unique assets.
These include the cultural and natural heritage of the Chasàn Chùa Park, which is vital for the project’s long-term sustainability. By recognizing and respecting this legacy through collaborative governance with Indigenous communities, traditional knowledge will be actively integrated into the development process.

The Arcore Water Park protects the area from flooding and allows people to enjoy a natural environment also designed for social and aggregation purposes. It is large natural reservoir, planted with hygrophilous vegetation species, capable of storing water up to a capacity of 14 thousand cubic metres and then slowly dispersing it. A green meadow on which one can safely walk in the absence of rain, is a symbol and landmark of the park itself.

The charging station is an “urban living room” that offers pleasant waiting and creates a “micro-landscape” within the city. The project aims to imagine a new model capable of dismantling the paradigm and aesthetics of traditional refuelling stations. A place to recharge both cars and people: “Plug-in Nature”

Corridor de Biodiversité is a masterplan that introduces vibrant habitats—forests, wetlands, and more—into the urban monotony. The project launched in Saint-Laurent with the Bureau du Design de la Ville de Montréal, aimed at boosting biodiversity through a seamless integration of green, blue, and social infrastructures. This venture takes a comprehensive approach, spanning neighbourhood to territorial scales, to mend the fragmented natural and human landscapes of urban environments.
The project was awarded the National Urban Design Awards 2020 for Sustainable Development, Canada and won the Awards of Excellence in the “Planning and Analysis” category by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA/AAPC) in 2021.
