Lorenzo Pirosa studied architecture at the University of Catania, specialising in landscape and urban planning. In 2019, he widened his knowledge in the sustainability domain through a Master’s degree at Polytechnic University of Milan in “Sustainable buildings and infrastructures”, delving into topics related to green urban planning and green economy, BIM approach to sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment, environmental rating systems (LEED, WELL, BREEAM, ENVISION). In 2021 he became WELL AP.

Since 2020 he has been working in the LAND Group dealing with strategic planning and being part of the LAND Research Lab. His research and consultancy work focuses on innovation approaches, sustainability strategies, data-driven methodologies, planning, implementation and evaluation of nature-based solutions.
