Our Nature-Positive Vision at the first Myplant&Garden Middle East
On the occasion of the first MENA edition of the international horticultural and floricultural fair, we returned to Dubai after the Expo 2020 experience with speeches, meetings, and panels. The promotion of Nature, culture and competence shapes the urban green of the future.
The first edition of Myplant & Garden Middle East – held at the Expo Dubai Exhibition Centre from 15th to 17th november 2025 – was a great opportunity to reconnect with the Dubai Municipality and the wider UAE community, five years after our shared commitment to Expo 2020 Dubai.

Ever since, we have been learning from Nature, from technology, and mostly from the people who work every day across this Region, helping us redefine our relationship with the environment through a Nature-Positive vision.
Through multidisciplinary talks and panels, our team joined Green City Italia and Montana Spa to highlight the importance of urban greenery in shaping the future of Middle Eastern cities, following the example set in Europe.

Andreas Kipar opening the first day of the fair with his speech
“Welcome back to Dubai. Today we are called to learn from Nature to face contemporary challenges, and human and artificial intelligence must work together in its service,” said Andreas Kipar, who opened the inaugural day. “Just as every human action carries a natural meaning, Nature-based Solutions must also be implemented with full awareness of their intrinsic cultural dimension, fostering new consciousness among people. The future of our cities revolves around this synergy between Nature and Culture, and Dubai is ready to nurture it, becoming a Nature-Positive city that sets an example for the entire MENA region.”

This initiative, following last year’s institutional visit by the Regione Lombardia, aims to promote interdisciplinary cooperation and joint support for research and development, providing strategic guidelines for sustainable and large-scale economic growth ahead of upcoming global events.

Project Director Lawand Barazi highlights his on-site experience
Our shared commitment to a greener, more inclusive, and sustainable future keeps broadening into the dynamic Middle Eastern context, with the aim of cultivating a future of harmonious coexistence, a blueprint for tomorrow’s urban sustainability.

LAND COO Jens Hoffmann speaking at the panel
From Milan to Dubai, via Riyadh, the shared mission of “Reconnecting People with Nature – from local to global” becomes the green thread weaving together three cities that symbolize innovation and vision, where the dialogue between sustainability and technology lays down the roots of the future.
