Giovanni Sala

As an Agronomist, for more than thirty years Giovanni Sala has been involved in research, design and supervision of works in green spaces inside the urban and rural landscape. As part of the LAND company, of which he is a co-founder, he deals with applied ecology, restoration of historic gardens, urban forestry and environmental recovery of abandoned areas. For more than thirty years he has held courses related to agronomy and green spaces at the Politecnico of Milan, the University of Milan, Turin and Pavia.

From 1985 to 2010 he was Director of the technical magazine ACER, of which he was also co-editor.

In 2014 he published the book “Spazi Aperti – Agro-environmental planning and management manual”.

In 2016 he co-founded the Tractus Company, dedicated to the enhancement of the rural real estate heritage at international level.I

n 2018 he co-founded the Egeria company, dedicated to the enhancement of the agro-industrial hemp chain (Cannabis sativa).
