Bibione Masterplan unveiled: a shared vision for the destination of the future

Developed by LAND Italia and SINLOC, the "Molta + Bibione" Masterplan establishes a long-term vision that reconnects tourism, Nature and public space to shape a more resilient, liveable and year-round destination.

In the presence of Mayor Flavio Maurutto, Andreas Kipar and Martina Erba presented the “Molta + Bibione” Masterplan, outlining a long-term vision for Bibione, that integrates tourism, Nature, public space and quality of life into a shared framework for the future of the renouned touristic destination.

Developed through an extensive participatory process launched in December 2025, the Masterplan brought together the local administration, businesses, associations and residents to define a common direction. The process highlighted the opportunity to look beyond seasonal seaside tourism and recognise the broader landscape as Bibione’s defining asset.

The Masterplan identifies strategic priorities including the regeneration of public spaces, the enhancement of green infrastructure, the expansion of active mobility, the integration of Nature-Based Solutions, and the creation of new sports and recreational facilities to support year-round tourism.

More than a planning document, “Molta + Bibione” provides a strategic framework to guide future public policies and investments, supporting Bibione’s evolution into a more resilient, inclusive and competitive destination.

By recognising landscape as essential infrastructure, the Masterplan lays the foundations for a destination where environmental quality, social wellbeing and economic development reinforce one another, placing Nature at the heart of future growth.
