Tanwer Burhan is an experienced Landscape Architect with extensive involvement in both the architectural field and academia. His journey into landscape architecture began while researching the ‘Vernacular Architecture’ of indigenous peoples in Bangladesh. Fascinated by their self-sustaining approaches to rural development, he developed a passion for the significance of public spaces over private ones. This realization steered his career towards landscape architecture in Germany, where he focuses on creating spaces that do more than fill an area within a structure.
Tanwer believes that improving environments extends beyond mere design; it involves adopting environmentally friendly construction techniques. He prioritizes the reduction of non-renewable resource use, minimizes waste, and strives to create productive environments. His expertise lies in detailed design and sustainable construction methods, reflecting his commitment to enhancing both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the landscapes he develops.
