As part of the Integrated Urban Development Concept (ISEK) for the City of Rosenheim in southern Bavaria, LAND Germany developed the technical framework “Environment–Climate–Climate Change” in collaboration with Raumposition and Weatherpark. While the ISEK provides a long-term strategic foundation for Rosenheim’s future, our specialist concept deepens its key objectives through a climate- and nature-based lens, suggesting a potential sustainable footprint of the city.

With the development concept for the Schaeffler Campus in Herzogenaurach, a strategic blueprint is emerging for the transformation of industrial sites into productive, climate-active and ecologically high-performing landscapes. LAND Germany is accompanying the site on its path from a functionally driven industrial area to a future-ready corporate campus that understands nature as infrastructure – and as an active part of value creation.

The Q reactivates the former Quelle Versandzentrum in Nürnberg, a protected landmark of post-war modernism designed by Prof. Ernst Neufert. Following its closure in 2009, the large area of 250,000 m² remained vacant. Since 2018, a comprehensive mixed-use redevelopment strategy has been advanced for the site. LAND Germany was involved in the feasibility study for the regeneration of the green areas of the site, as well as in the detailed planning and executive design.

The Klimaschutzsiedlung Wohnen am Wald project in Düsseldorf, winner of the NRW Landespreis 2017 for Architecture, Housing, and Urban Development, integrates high-quality open spaces with residential architecture. Defined by clear zoning between private and communal areas, the landscape enhances urban living through green buffers, shared recreational spaces, and climate-conscious design solutions fostering social interaction and biodiversity.
