Located in the heart of Cannes, the Nespresso Flagship Store redefines urban retail through a carefully curated balance between nature and commerce. The design introduces a Capsule Garden, an immersive green space that enhances the sensory experience of visitors while reflecting the origins of Nespresso’s coffee culture. Featuring lush vegetation, including coffee plants and native greenery, the garden creates a tranquil retreat within the bustling city.
Sustainability drives the project, integrating recycled materials, biophilic principles, and natural ventilation to reduce environmental impact. The use of greenery regulates the store’s microclimate, improving air quality and minimizing the urban heat island effect. Thoughtful placement of plant life and natural lighting enhances both aesthetics and well-being.
The project establishes a new benchmark for retail architecture, transforming a commercial space into a holistic, nature-driven experience that strengthens the relationship between product, place, and people.
