
The Sulbiate-Aicurzio Water Park on Il Corriere della Sera
The “Liberi tutti” column of Corriere della Sera mentioned our Parco dell’Acqua in Sulbiate-Aicurzio, designed for BrianzAcque, as a virtuous example of a “sponge park,” comparing it to international examples in Copenhagen, New York, and China.
In the article by Laura Ragazzola, the largest blue-green infrastructure in Brianza — inaugurated last September — embodies the idea of rethinking the urban landscape to minimize risks associated with extreme weather events, turning water into a resource and creating new green spaces for the benefit of the community.

The sustainable awareness surrounding water, along with the opportunity to enjoy it in a recreational way, fits within the urgent need to bring Nature back into cities as part of a climate adaptation plan that, starting from Natural Capital, restores value to the entire territory.
