Federico Scopinich speaks about “The climate-resilient city of the future”

Federico Scopinich, LAND Suisse, has been invited to the neext Themen Dialog "Stadt der Zukunft - Nachhaltig. Vernetzt. Lebenswert." which will be held on 25 April 2024 in Lucerne.

The city of the future faces groundbreaking challenges. Whether climate adaptation, energy transition, affordable housing, sustainable mobility or demographic change – a holistic interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach is required. But what concrete measures need to be taken to promote a sustainable and connected environment in the city of the future? To what extent are the strategies for minimising the ecological impact and maximising the quality of life in the city of the future geared towards creating a forward-looking and sustainable metropolis?

All questions we are involved in on a daily basis, so Federico Scopinich, General Manager of LAND Suisse, will share his insights, in a trialogue with Andreas Wende (Mobimo) and Claudia Schwalfenberg (SIA), moderated by Marcel Roll (Drees & Sommer), and Florian Schrenk (Drees & Sommer).
The talk is part of the workshop Themen Dialog “Stadt der Zukunft – Nachhaltig. Vernetzt. Lebenswert.” (City of the future – Sustainable. Networked. Worth living).

The event, organised by neext, Europe’s new ecosystem for transformation and innovative market perspectives, is powered by Drees & Sommer and offers a series of exclusive dialogues dedicated to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, on the future of industry, production, energy, urban and location development.

The talk will take place in Lucerne, Thursday, April 25, from 10:45 – 11:10.
Address: Schindler PORT Innovation Lab – Zugerstrasse 13, 6030 Ebikon, Schweiz
