I graduated from the University of Bologna with a degree in Land and Agro-Forestry Sciences, and later from the University of Padua in the international Master’s program Forest Science – Forest and Nature for the Future. There, I deepened my knowledge of topics such as forest governance, ecosystem management, socio-ecological systems, climate change, and biodiversity conservation.

Throughout my academic journey, I specialized in the study of forests and the ecological dynamics that shape their evolution, resilience, and adaptation to global change. During my time as a research fellow in Padua, I participated in several research projects, gaining field experience in Alpine, Apennine, and boreal ecosystems. I further developed expertise in dendrochronological and dendroanatomical analysis methods to investigate species’ physiological responses to climate change.
