New Project Directors at LAND Italia: Desirée Pierluigi and Matteo Bulgarelli
We’re happy to share the news of two well-deserved promotions within LAND Italia. Desirée Pierluigi and Matteo Bulgarelli are now officially Project Directors.
Desirée joined LAND in 2021, bringing with her a rich international background shaped by five years in the Netherlands. After starting out at Inside Outside – Petra Blaisse, she worked across interior, exhibition, and landscape design, contributing to more than 40 projects from concept to execution.
Since returning to Italy and joining our Milan office, Desirée has played a central role in some of our most complex and high-impact urban regeneration projects.
Matteo also became part of the LAND team in 2021. With a degree in Environmental Architecture and a research thesis on sustainable mobility and green infrastructure, he has developed a solid track record in urban planning, strategic design, and sustainability-focused projects.
From his early experiences at Lombardini22 to his diverse work at LAND, Matteo brings a thoughtful, systemic approach to shaping places.
Their promotion marks an important step in their professional journey, and a step forward for LAND, too.
