LAND Germany expands: New office opens in Bavaria

LAND Germany is entering an exciting new chapter. With the opening of a new office in Fürth (Bavaria), LAND strengthens its presence in Southern Germany — a region where the demand for nature-based transformation, green infrastructure, and resilient public spaces continues to grow rapidly.

Located in the heart of the Nuremberg metropolitan region, the Fürth office gives LAND a strong local foundation. The location offers ideal conditions to build connections with municipalities, partners, and stakeholders, while remaining closely involved in ongoing and future projects.

At the head of this new hub is Adrian Grimm. Having previously collaborated with LAND on several projects, Adrian sees the Fürth office as a strategic stepping stone for expanding LAND’s impact in Southern Germany. The new location, he explains, combines ideal spatial conditions with an established regional and professional network. This creates “the perfect foundation to actively shape LAND’s increased presence in Southern Germany and bring fresh impulses to sustainable and participatory development.”

From previous collaborations with LAND Germany, Adrian also recognized a shared mindset: a commitment to meaningful design, a collaborative spirit, and a common set of values. “The projects that connected me with Kornelia, Nadine, Petra, and Andreas already showed that we share the same motivation and pursue the same ideals,” he reflects. “Building on LAND Germany’s existing base means bringing our combined expertise forward with confidence and carrying our passion outward.”

Alongside Adrian, Jonas Sengstock joins the office as Working Student, contributing new energy and a young perspective rooted in local awareness. He believes that strong design starts with respect for place. For him, understanding the identity of a site is easier when projects are embedded in the region — yet innovation arises when ideas and disciplines meet. “An international network like LAND offers the perfect framework for this exchange,” he says. “Working on regional projects while being part of a global community is an exciting combination and a great learning environment.”

Together, Adrian and Jonas will continue to drive LAND’s mission of Reconnecting People With Nature, supporting projects throughout Bavaria and Southern Germany. Their combined expertise — local knowledge, design sensibility, construction know-how, and international perspective — strengthens LAND’s capabilities across all project phases, from early concept to implementation on the ground.

The new Fürth office marks a step toward deeper regional engagement and confirms LAND’s long-term commitment to designing landscapes that create social, ecological, and cultural value.

Welcome Adrian, Jonas — and welcome to our new LAND Germany location in Bavaria.
