LAND Continues Partnership with IUSVE’s Social Communication Master’s Program in 2024
LAND will continue its collaboration with the new Level I University Diploma/Master's Degree in Social Communication for Profit and Non-Profit Enterprises offered by IUSVE in 2024.
We are pleased to announce that LAND will continue collaborating with the new Level I University Diploma/Master’s Degree in Social Communication for Profit and Non-Profit Enterprises offered by IUSVE in 2024. This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering strong social components in landscape architecture, aligning with our mission to design nature-positive landscapes that combat the climate crisis and future-proof our cities.
About the Course: In the evolving world of communication, profit and non-profit sectors increasingly focus on social themes. Companies promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability through integrated communication strategies, emphasizing the circular economy and ethical commitments. This shift is mirrored in the third sector, where organizations like ODVs, NGOs, associations, cooperatives, and social enterprises actively raise awareness on humanitarian, social, and civil rights issues.
The course aims to train professionals in social communication, equipping them with the skills to develop strategic, integrated campaigns that span online and offline platforms. Graduates will be adept at disseminating accurate and impactful content on sustainability, guided by the five key R’s of ethical communication: Recognition, Respect, Reciprocity, Responsibility, and Relationship.

LAND’s Role: Our involvement – together with others, among them the association Green City Italia – in this program highlights LAND’s dedication to embedding social values within our projects. Participating in this educational initiative aims to empower future communication specialists to promote sustainable practices and engage communities effectively. Our expertise in creating resilient, nature-positive landscapes will provide students with practical insights into the role of landscape architecture in addressing environmental challenges.
The images give an insight into the students’ visit to Milan on May 10th, themed “Social and environmental sustainability: a shared well-being,” with several other partners, moderated by Prof. Paolo Schianchi, the Course Director. Green City Italia hosted all the participants in the WWF Oasis at the Pippa Bacca Garden, and the Communications Team took the students to our Wunderkammer as an example to show how a physical space can mediate communication.
We look forward to another year of fruitful collaboration with IUSVE, contributing to the development of competent professionals who are ready to positively impact society through effective and ethical communication.
